"Golden shorelines are among my favorite things. There is truly something magical about the shore. Growing up in Maryland we always lived close to a river bank, if not on one! As a young adult I lived on the ocean. The salty tide water is truly a big part of me. It soothes my soul and quiets my mind. That is what I hope this painting does for the viewer as well.
I love how at the shore everything is moving and the air is charged. It seems like everything is just so alive! It leaves us feeling recharged and balanced. This painting is so soft and pastel. There are touches of warm pink and green balanced with blue and orange. There is a soft gold light which falls over the sand and invites the viewer to stay a while."
